|War||Islamic ruling goes into great detail about the conduct during warfare. Some of the main aspects include: only engaging in warfare in self-defense of your people, forbidding of harming women, children or the elderly, forbidding of disrespecting dead bodies, forbidding of destroying enemy crops or livestock, forbidding of harming enemy religious practitioners.||The Hindu guidelines for war are outlined in the Dharma-yuddha a concept meaning Righteous War. These guidelines include, only fighting during the day, single combat(no multiple combatants may harm an individual combatant), warriors are allowed to surrender and thus become a prisoner of war and shall be unharmed in battle, warriors may only fight each other if they have the same weapon and are of the same class (e.g. infantry, mounted soldier).|
|Meaning of Life||Humans are to not get so attached to this material life and instead should worship and be mindful of God always so as to move closer to him and ultimately be rewarded with their place in Paradise.||Humans are in bondage to ignorance and illusion, but are able to escape. Purpose is to gain release from rebirth, or at least a better rebirth.|
|Life after death||All beings created with reason will be accountable to God Almighty on the Day of Judgement. They will be rewarded for every atom's weight of good, and either forgiven or punished for their evil deeds.||A constant cycle of reincarnation until enlightenment is reached.|
|Definition||Islam is an Arabic word which means "Submission or surrender your will to God in Peace".||The word Hindu has geographical significance and was used originally for those people who lived beyond the river Sindhu or the region watered by the river Indus. Hindus themselves, call their religion "Sanatana Dharma,” meaning "Eternal Law."|
